FIRST TRY TO "GET GOING" ON MY TRIP AROUND THE WORLD

This is my very first entry on my new blog about my pretend trip around the world.

Yesterday it rained all day in Memphis and I was alone because my son was at work.

What a perfect time to begin my research for this exciting endeavor.
Actually I would like to go over the North Pole.

 But it doesn't seem possible by plane unless I want to land somewhere I don't want to go!! Like Fiji Island....
and although the trip itself is pretend, all the information is accurate as to travel times, hotels, restaurants and everything else on the trip.

 I had already "pretend seen" the Arctic Ocean when I was in Barrow 



and also when I took a cruise along coast of Norway.


 Barrow, Alaska, and Norway were my first two pretend trips and I remember them just as though I made those trips "in the flesh."

My friend Beanie,  a dear made up friend who was in Barrow,  Argentina, and Phillippi with me, is already on her way over to get in on it.  We'll spread maps out over the kitchen table as we drink coffee. When I know more, I'll tell you more!! Love, annie
